End of season steals and deals! Haul.

While at SHOPPERS DRUG MART this week they had a ton of cosmetic products on clearance as its the end of season so I thought it was a good time to try some new products for a fraction of the price.

I have used MARCELLE foundation products before and love the new mascara the have out so thought I'd try the eye shadow out.

The mirror thing is annoying, I need to tape it shut again cause it keeps falling out. I haven't used these kinds of brushes on my eyes in years but they are good for smudging or using to do nail polish designs.
I love that there is a big combo of colours to choose from here. Its a great product to play around with different looks.
There are no mat colours but vibrant rich sparkling shine.
Some swatches of the shades that I barely touched so great colour payoff!
I got this 3D eye shadow for only $6.99
Okay so I am a sucker for the PHYSICIANS FORMULA packaging! This was a pretty good deal at $11.99 but I got it for $6.99 on clearance.
Love how cool this looks with the sun coming out of it and summer feeling i has (was hard to see with flash so I took two pictures)

This is the other side of the packaging. Lots of little balls of slightly different pigment shades.

This is what it looks like open without the puff and brush over top of it. This bronzing package is like a onion haha lots of layers!
Little matching brush to apply the product.
Comes with this this puff applicator that keeps the product down in the packaging however not sure how practical this is.....How good can a puff be to apply bronze?? I don't know anyone that uses a puff to apply it so to me its a waste.

Next again we have a great offer value when they had the $11.99 deal but was on clearance for $6.99 and I have a $9.00 rebate that will make this completely free woot woot!

 Love the packaging!

I have only I think two things by ANNABELLE so I thought it would be great to try. This is a steal at $9.99 but was on clearance for $3.99!

I have this in a green shade from when it first came out but one thing I did not like was that the application brush was way to thick and did not give a good thin line so that was annoying to go back and fix. They have since improved the brush and now have a good more stiff applicator that I really thought was good.

L'ORÉAL PARIS INFALLIBLE was $12.99 but I got it on clearance for $4.99
This stuff works pretty good at evening out pores and fine lines as well as lasts about 12 hrs....I thought 12 hrs was long enough to have makeup on my face before scrubbing it off.

Comes with a mirror and sponge applicator I used just to get a swatch. I prefer applying with a brush.

Couponing June 2010

So this is a new product from COLGATE...equaling good sales to introduce the products to consumers....equals me getting an awesome deal using coupons!
They come in two sizes, this is the smaller of the two that was on sale at SHOPPERS DRUG MART for $1.99. Regular price is $4.99 but since its a new product they have a good sale!

Over the past several weeks I've been getting $1.00 off coupons...I had eight saved up so my $1.99 toothpaste sale became $0.99 so I only paid $7.92 = a savings of $32.00
Okay so I forgot my coupons at home as I would have got the REACH ones free but I got them all for $0.99 each saving me over $10.00
These AIR WICK FRESHMATICS sell for $8.50 - $9.50 at full price. These ones happen to be special limited time colours that I thought where really pretty.
They happened to be on sale at WALMART for $5.47 that's a amazingly good sale price on its own. I actually bought 6 of them but two are in use haha....yeah left my purse in front of the blue one so my purse has smelled like it for over a week haha. anyhoo  I had 6 high valued coupons from the company I got by filling out a survey. So $5.47 - $5.00 off coupon = $0.47 each! woot almost free! So in total just from the sale alone I saved $30.00!
They are both pretty colours but I love the purple the best! and its lavender scented!

Physicians Formula: Youthful wear

I decided to try this product since it was on sale for 40% off  so I paid $11.50 but with a mail in rebate I will only end up having to pay $2.50 for this product.
The claim is that is is going to make you look ten years younger. I did find that it did melt into my skin evening out lines and pores, I noticed it even while on my hand it seemed to even out my skin well. It claims to be a three step set with buying a concealer and powder to go with it. I found it to work pretty good but if I was to pay the full price I'd rather pay an extra ten dollars for MAC studio fix that covers everything and lasts all day.
I found the packaging to be kinda small then first appeared in the box. The brush is soft but really small to use however I was thinking it would be good to use for traveling.

My baking goals

So as a goal for the year/ something to do I try to bake/cook something new every weekend to try new things. I am a veggie now so learning new no meat dishes is always fun as well but last weekend I had absolutely nothing to do so I cooked....And gave lots away since I'm trying to loose weight! I also trashed my kitchen with hours of cooking so that was fun when it was all over to clean haha! Here we go!

chocolate raspberry loaf....I have bought lots of fresh fruit so looked for a quick and easy raspberry recipe and found this on youtube haha. I blended my raspberries well into the mix that was the only thing I changed and it came out super yummy!
Yeah me spilling batter on my stove top! haha this moist and yummy bread was a hit!

Another youtube recipe I got from rather than looking one up in my cook books. The fresh blueberries where the best part as I though while putting it together was a uber dry recipe...so Ill stick to my books next time!

Okay my peanut butter balls in progress! I had to re dip them as I was lazy the first time but its soooo time consuming! It was soooo yummy when done.....forgot to take pictures and everyone really liked them!

New chocolate chip cookie recipe I got from the joy of baking website! She is a great baker and her recipes/videos are so easy to follow! I added sunflower seeds was great....And I dropped off half the batch to my friends that enjoyed it too.
This is a new spinach tofu sorta pasta but minus the pasta dish that also had eggplant, tomato, and zucchini in it. Something I cooked up then put in the oven to bake was really yummy even though I just tried it out randomly my own creation.

Chocolate chip banana bread! Best I think!

Thanks for stopping by!
